You need to lose time, to win time
Waarom Koen Gonnissen inhuren als spreker?
He shares his many years of experience during the training sessions and presentations. These training sessions are specifically designed to show the parallels between sport and business. Through a combination of academic models and practical examples from sports, Koen encourages individuals and teams to step out of their comfort zone, to think about their functioning and to achieve efficient and sustainable performances. Koen finds it a challenge to form a team from a group of individuals. With terms such as “What got us here, will not get us there” and “From a performance culture to a winning culture” Koen inspires in modern leadership.
‘Koen knows as like no other how to personally address an audience. He does not speak in generalities, but tells relevant information about the (own) body and well-being. A valuable addition to which we have found a good connection with the central theme Survival of the Fittest.’
After his international sports career Koen Gonnissen specialized at the end of 1998 in training and coaching at companies of teams, individuals, managers and leaders. Until the year of 2000 Koen also supervises many Belgian and international professional tennis players such as Kim Clijsters, Xavier Malisse and Juan Carlos Ferrero. From the year 2000 Koen decides to focus on the business life. Koen writes the book ‘De bedrijfsatleet (The business athlete)’ with Alain Goudsmet in which he describes the parallels between sport and business. Koen also achieves the title Business & Executive Coach. In 2004 Koen obtained the MBTI certificate and in 2005 he obtained the Coach ICF certificate. In 2009 Koen helps Kim Clijsters with her comeback in the international professional tennis. In 2010 Koen joined the cycling team Omega Pharma Lotto to work with professional cyclists Philipe Gilbert and André Greipel. Here Koen introduces the philosophy ‘Riding as one’.
